The Melisizwe Brothers Goldmind Symposium Concerts took place on March 28th, 2023 at the Civic Center in Belize City and March 30th, 2023 at the Stann Creek Ecumenical College Auditorium. The Melisizwe Brothers are not only accomplished musicians but they are also motivational speakers. Their message of maintaining a gold mind is one that can be transformative especially because it is presented to young persons by youth like themselves.
Southern students also benefited from listening to youth with similar backgrounds speak positively to them. All indications are that the Goldmind symposium concerts were indeed edifying to our youth and we look forward to Goldmind 2024. We are very happy to report that there were roughly 4,000 students at the symposium concert at the Belize Civic Center, and 3,000 students in the auditorium at Stann Creek Ecumenical College. Students did not pay for the concert because of our work to secure commitment from partners who proudly backed Gold Mind.
